MENLO PARK, Calif., May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Kathleen Trimble, vice president of supplier inclusion for staffing firm Robert Half, has been honored with the inaugural Kathleen Trimble Legend Award. The accolade, given by the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC) as part of its annual Excellence in Supplier Diversity Awards, recognizes lifelong achievements in supplier inclusion.
"Kathleen has devoted her career to championing diverse businesses, and we congratulate her on this namesake recognition," said Stephen Hilton, Robert Half senior vice president and corporate controller. "She truly is a legend in her field who has played an integral role in the development of Robert Half's supplier inclusion practices."
Trimble joined Robert Half in 2004 as supplier diversity manager and assumed her current position in 2014. She is a past chair and currently serves as board secretary for the WRMSDC. Trimble previously served as program director at the Women's Enterprise Development Corporation (WEDC), where she led a partnership between WEDC and the Small Business Administration's LINC program.
Trimble currently serves on the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Executive Committee and board of directors and is the chair for the WBENC National Certification Committee; she also is on the board of directors for Women's Business Enterprise Council – West. She has been an active supporter and champion for diverse businesses, partnering with numerous organizations nationwide.
